Mr Stephen Eeley

Stephen joined the University in 1989 after 25 years in the world of commerce. His first job was as the administrator of the University Museum of Natural History in Parks Road. After 10 years in 1999, he was appointed administrator of the University Club in order to oversee its transition from Halifax House into its new building in Mansfield Road. He retired from the University on completion of that work. Since then he has done various project management jobs for the University and its colleges on a self-employed and part-time basis, and he has recently overseen the redevelopment of Vincent’s Club.
In his own time during the past 25 years, he has done a BA degree with the Open University and an MA degree at Warwick University. He was for 16 years a magistrate on the Oxford City Bench and he is currently a trustee for two local charities.
