Susannah is quantitative researcher in the Statistics group at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences. She originally trained as an engineer, and completed her doctorate in biomedical engineering in collaboration with researchers in primary care, before finding her “home” in primary care research.
Susannah has particular interests in diagnostic and monitoring technologies and techniques, including “vital signs” such as temperature, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure. She works across a variety of clinical areas, including cancer, heart disease, and kidney disease, but has particular interests in paediatrics (children), infection, and respiratory disease.
