Dr Xiaoxiao Ling

Xiaoxiao is a Researcher in Health Economics based at Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford. Her research areas include trial-based economic evaluations, primarily in orthopaedics and sleep disorders, and statistical methods in health economics, including missing data and causal inference.
Before joining the group, she had her PhD study at the Department of Statistical Science at UCL. Her research topic was addressing item-level missingness in trial-based cost-effectiveness analyses with multi-item questionnaires and longitudinal follow-up. Prior to that, Xiaoxiao worked as a Research Associate in Health Economics at King’s Health Economics, King’s College London. There, she contributed to projects related to domestic abuse and mental health.
