The Nigel Mason Award

The Nigel Mason Award is Kellogg’s annual prize for excellence in business and work research.

This prestigious award, announced at the Oxford Symposium on Employee Ownership, includes a £2,000 cash prize and significant publicity for the winner’s work.

Named after a leading expert in employee ownership, the award is open to researchers from any background and is the UK’s only dedicated prize in this field. It recognises the most significant recent contributions to employee ownership research.

Administered by the Nigel Mason Award committee, with support from the UK employee ownership sector, submissions are judged by a panel of world-renowned experts. This award is funded by a generous bequest from Nigel Mason with additional donations supporting its mission.

Nigel Mason was dedicated to advancing the understanding of democratic business ownership through high-quality research, providing vital support for policymaking.
