Jason works under the Future of Marketing Initiative and studies the marketing of new products. He researches new product development, especially durable goods. He uses Bayesian econometrics to model consumer demand and competitive equilibria. In addition, Jason has a growing interest in Natural Language Processing with applications in computational creativity, automated idea evaluation, and market opportunity discovery. Jason cares deeply about applications of research and regularly interfaces with practitioners.
