Kellogg College Summer Programme in Humanities

A distinct Anglo-French learning experience.

In collaboration with Maison Francaise d’Oxford & Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS)

The Kellogg College Summer Programme in the Humanities brings together leading academics – from the University of Oxford and prestigious French institutions such as the Sorbonne – delving into 15th- to 20th-century British and French Art, Architecture, and Literature.

This wide-reaching immersion across disciplines and time frames is anchored in a keen acknowledgement of cultural convergences and intertwined histories. The week-long programme will foster curiosity around shared cultures and artistic expressions, including an exploration of gender and its impact, across art forms and eras.

All participants will come away with a revitalised understanding of the interactions between different art forms and the cultural and historical imperatives that interlace Anglo-French history and reverberate into the common heritage of the present day.
